Cavan goalkeeper Alan O'Mara has switched his club allegiance to Dublin outfit St Oliver Plunketts.

His switch to the Navan Road side from Bailieborough Shamrocks was completed earlier this week, according to the Irish Independent.

O'Mara - who documented his personal battle against depression earlier this year - lined out between the posts for the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Kerry.

He took over the number one jersey from his injured club-mate Conor Gilsenan.

The Navan Road side are out of the running for Dublin SFC honours after losing to Ballinteer in the opening round.
