The Late Ned Gormley,
Sincere sympathy is extended to the Gormley family Cormore Arva on the recent death of their father Edward 'Ned'. He was in his 97th year and he spent the last years of his life in Castlemanor nursing home.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Nonie (Nee McSeain) 9 years ago. Ned was a very popular person, who enjoyed life to the full. All his family played football and two of his sons Padraig and Oliver played for Cornafean. Oliver was left corner back on the Cornafean team that won the Cavan Junior Championship in 2000.
He will be sadly missed by his family, sons John, Padraig, Oliver and Niall, daughter Aine, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grand-children and his great grand-child Cillian, extended family, neigbhours and his many friends. His funeral was in the Holy Family Church, Lough Gowna.
