Seniors

Our Seniors drew 3-7 apiece with Knockbride on Saturday afternoon last in Ballyconnell. Belturbet: Cian Vaughan, Luke Smith, Kevin McConnell, Mark Lawlor, Killian Murray, Shane Fitzpatrick, John Cahill, Enda Henry(1-1), Mark Teevan, Niall Lawlor, Donal McDonald(1-1), Eoin McGuigan(0-1), Sean Grogan, Conor Vaughan(0-1), Brendan Fitzpatrick(0-3). Subs: Jack O’Callaghan(1-0), Colum Dennehy, Killian Teevan. Our Seniors travel to Mullagh this Saturday May 25 to take on Cuchulainns at 5pm.

 

Reserves

Our Reserves take on Lavey  in their ACFL Reserve Division 3 League Semi Final this Sunday May 26 at 1pm. Venue details TBC.

 

U13s

Our U13s defeated Munterconnacht by 7-9 to 7-8 yesterday evening in the Division 3 League in the 3G Pitch, Kingspan Breffni.

 

Cavan U16 Girls

Congratulations to Gemma Beatty, Laura Brown and the Cavan U16 Girls who defeated Monaghan by 0-12 to 1-8 on Saturday last to clinch the Ulster U16 A Championship Title in Smithboro.

 

Safeguarding Course

Safeguarding Children(Child Protection) Course takes place on Friday May 31st in St.Mary's Boys School at 7pm. Anyone helping out with underage groups must have this complete. Contact Andrea on 0860466239 or Tessa on 0876738190 to put your name down.

 

Juvenile Get Active Initiative

Belturbet Boys Juvenile GAA are launching a new initiative to get our community active. Our target is to reach 1 million steps a day in the month of May with the help of our entire community. We are starting with a weekly community walk from Centra at 8pm on Wednesday May 1. We'd love to see you all there, don't forget your Hi-Vis.

 

Cavan Seniors

Congratulations to the  Cavan Senior team on their 1-13 to 0-12 win over Monaghan in the Ulster Senior Championship Quarter Final on Saturday last in Kingspan Breffni. Cavan now meet Armagh in the Semi Final on Sunday June 2 in Clones.

 

Senior Ladies

Our Senior Ladies suffered a 6-18 to 3-8 defeat to Kingscourt on Sunday last in the Division 3 League in O'Raghallaigh Park.

 

Belturbet Golf Club

Belturbet Golf Club are doing an offer of €242 for 2 years for a Beginner Golfer or €242 for a returning golfer who hasn't played golf for 2 years for 1 year.

 

Club Membership 

Club Membership is now due for 2019. The funds are needed and much appreciated as it is going directly into the account for the much needed re-development of our club grounds which are well completed at this stage and which will be fully completed later this year.  Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet. This will entitle members to free entry into all Belturbet games at underage and senior level as well as having their name entered into the weekly club lotto draw. If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2019 can be returned  to our club chairman Mark Lawlor, Secretary Paul O'Reilly, Treasurer Alan Traynor or indeed any of the club committee.
