Dinner Dance

Thanks to everybody who attended our celebratory dinner dance on Saturday night last in honour of our victorious U17 championship and senior league and championship double winning teams. It was a pleasure to see the room packed to capacity and everybody enjoying themselves. A very special thank you to Warren McElhone, Edward Fitzsimons and all the staff at Crover House Hotel for leaving no stone unturned in our dealings with them in the lead up to the function and for providing a setting and food befitting of the occasion. Thank you to our Master of Ceremonies, Damien O'Reilly, for the professionalism and efficiency he displayed in conducting the presentations and raffle. Thank you to Martin McHugh and Barry Cahill for presenting the medals and frames to the players. Thank you to our raffle prize sponsors (Crover House Hotel, The Style Studio (Aisling Smith), Paula Coleman Make-up and Beauty, BC Fitness (Brian Coleman), Glanbia, Barduccis (Darragh Elliott), Sean & Kit McBride, Flanagan Painting and Decorating, Skelly's Mace, Paddy Smith Taxi and Barry Murray Beds. Thank you to Justin Burke for taking the photographs. Presentations were made on behalf of the club to U17 managers Fiachra Sweeney and Fionan Callaghan and to the senior management team of Donal Keogan, Martin Corey and Ouray McBride. Congratulations to Stephen Cooney who was awarded the accolade of Senior Player of the Year and to Irene Farrelly who received the Club Person of the Year award - both individuals are truly deserving of their respective awards as they have demonstrated tireless enthusiasm and commitment to the club.
