Stars A.G.M. 2018 

Kingscourt Stars AGM was held in the Clubrooms last Sunday. Officers elected: Chairman Phil Smith; Vice Chairman David Burke; Secretary Agnes Clarke; Assistant Secretary Johnny Fleming;  Treasurer Vacant;  Assistant Treasurer Kieran Lynch & Frank Boylan; Ladies Football Officer Pat Farrelly; Children's Officer Vacant;  PRO Fiona Burke;  Assistant PRO Agnes Clarke; Health and Safety Officer Gillian O'Reilly Registrar Johnny Fleming; Insurance Officer Terry Reilly;  Development & Infrastructure Officer Colm Kieran; Ground Maintenance Officer Tommy Reilly. Congratulations to our new President Brendan Murtagh. Working committee: Michael Farrelly Muff; Michael Farrelly Cornavan, Robbie O'Connell, David Burke, Seamus Sexton, Dr John McMahon, Gabriel Patterson, Sean Kieran, Gerry Martin,  Kieran Smith, Brendan Morris, Pat Faulkner and Colin Higgins.

Juvenile A.G.M. was held before Christmas. Details of elected officers in next week's notes! 

Baby Star 

Congratulations to outgoing club secretary Niall Reilly and his wife Laura on the birth of their fourth daughter Erin Mary. Thanks for all the hard work Niall, and best of luck to you, Laura and girls! 

Club Membership 

Membership fees are now due for 2018. Remember only paid up members for the year are eligible and insured to use the club facilities and train/play for Kingscourt Stars!  

Chairde Dún a Rí  

Did you know that for €20 a month you can avail of  Kingscourt Stars Club membership and insurance for the year for all the family,  a season ticket for all the family to all Kingscourt Stars home league matches,  (Game Pass Ticket will be given), and 3 lines of lotto draw every week. This is great value as there are no training fees for our players throughout the year! Information will be available on registration day (date to be decided), or from any committee member! 

Gum Shield 

Gentle reminder to all players and parents that gumshields are compulsory. If a player has an accident and is not wearing a gumshield then they are not covered by insurance! 

Seniors  

The new senior management team for 2018 is Peter McKeon, Barry McArdle and Fra McPhillips. We wish them the best of luck for the coming season.  Remember players, you must be registered to play and be insured. 

Charity Match 

Kingscourt Cancer Fund would like to thank the senior players who got up early on St Stephen's day to play a charity soccer match - young V not so young! A large sum of money was raised!  

Lotto                

Lotto held in Clarkes. Numbers drawn 3; 4; 5; 12.  Congratulations to Thomas Roe, who is the jackpot winner, and seller Robbie O'Connell. Draw next week in Dún a Rí for a jackpot of €2000.
