Kinsella: Our game plan worked

April 15, 2015

Carlow CBS joint manager Conor Kinsella admitted that they set out a game plan and it worked to perfection.

A comfortable win over Abbey CBS saw Carlow claim the All-Ireland B senior football title at Croke Park last Saturday.

It was a historic win for the Carlow school and Kinsella stressed to the Carlow Nationalist that the players bought into their philosophy.

"We have had some tough years in the past and didn't get past the first round. This year, we have had up to 30 lads training and it is the easiest thing in the world to go to training when lads are interested," said Kinsella.

"Whether it is tactics or a game plan, we have set it up and the lads have taken it on board. In the Mountbellew match we couldn't have asked for any more.

"In the final, we looked at a game plan and they carried it out to perfection."
