Kavanagh eyes IT Carlow

Carlow IT hurler Marty Kavanagh is delighted to be playing in the All-Ireland Colleges Division 1 league hurling final.
This afternoon (Wednesday), they take on UCC at Dungarvan in the final and having already beaten today's opponents, Waterford IT, UL and DCU, Carlow IT are favourites to win the final.
And the Carlow county hurler is confident that they can get the job done, while he is looking forward to playing this afternoon.
"The college set-up is a little similar to club in that we are all so close. You wouldn't believe how good some of these lads are," Kavanagh told the Carlow Nationalist.
"We have taken on some of the bigger colleges and beaten them. Some of our lads would make any team in the county.
"We are really looking forward to this. It is great to play against the big names. Brilliant."
