Carlow GAA to welcome new club

December 06, 2018

A new GAA club called Bagenalstown Gaels is on the way in Carlow.

St Andrew’s, Erin’s Own and juvenile club Muinebheag all disbanded on Sunday to pave the way for the new amalgamation, according to The Nationalist.

Carlow County Board has yet to officially ratify the new club, which will then be free to hold an AGM and elect its first committee.

It is expected that Bagenalstown Gaels will contest the 2019 Carlow SFC and IHC.
