McDonnell hints at changes

Armagh manager Peter McDonnell
Armagh boss Peter McDonnell has suggested that there may well be one or two changes made to his side for this Sunday's Ulster SFC final replay against Fermanagh.
It's well known that McDonnell was disappointed with the way his side performed in the second-half of last Sunday's drawn game with the Ernesiders, but the Mullaghbawn clubman has admitted that the only changes made will be the ones that his management team will be content with.
"There may be a tweak here or there. It certainly won't be on the back of anything other than we, as a collective group of players and management, decide upon," stressed McDonnell.
Despite the disappointing performance in the last quarter by the Orchard men, McDonnell concede that his side were somewhat lucky to have escaped from Clones with a draw, and points out that weaknesses of their second-half decline will be ironed out in training over the coming days.
"I suppose the footballing Gods have looked kindly upon us this time and provided us with a second chance.
"We have went through a League campaign where the opposition have won a lot of ball against us in the middle and, with the exception of one team, namely Meath, we have always been fit to contain the aftermath of losing possession.
"But any weakness that became apparent last week will be worked on in training this week.
"Weaknesses that became apparent earlier in the year, we are working on them now. When we were pressurised in our forward line, we maintained the ball and made openings. We competed well with Fermanagh, so there is an awful lot of positives."
