Patrickswell GAA notes

July 21, 2008
Well done to our minor hurlers who continued their winning ways in the Premier Hurling Championship last Friday evening in Bruff. Taking on Bruree, our lads played excellent hurling throughout,  winning on a final score line of 1-18 to 0-11. Next up is Knockaderry. This game is scheduled for August 1st. On Saturday 19th our Intermediates played Ballybrown in the final of the City Hurling Championship. Missing a few key players and giving home advantage to Ballybrown, our lads were unfortunately beaten by a stronger team on the day. On Thursday 17th the County Under 21's took on Tipperary in the Munster U21 Hurling semi-final. Managed by the Well's Ciaran Carey and with James Mann and Thomas O'Brien on the panel,  Limerick dominated the game for long periods. While the sides were level on new fewer the six occasions, Limerick were unlucky to be beaten by a single injury time point.
