Congratulations goes to club footballers Aimee Byrne and Monica Lynch who helped Wicklow county win the Ladies Leinster Junior Championship in Carlow recently.  They beat Louth by 5-8  to 0-16 with Aimee accounting for two points and Monica scoring one point.  We wish them well in the All-Ireland semi-final.  The club are holding their annual 500/1 Draw with 1st Prize of .10,000 plus six other cash prizes.  Tickets cost .70 and can be purchased from Phil at 2818328, John at 2818410 or Paul at 2818398.  This is the main fundraiser for the year so we urge everyone to support this draw to help with the upkeep of the complex.  The under 12s secured a super result against Kilcoole last Monday July 14th, winning by 4-05 to 2-05 with everyone on the team playing out of their skins. The under 16s had an impressive win over St Nicholas last week winning by 2-10 to 1-7.  Scorers on this occasion were S O Neill 1-3, Ml Kavanagh 1-2, Ml Doyle 0-2 and Ptk Crowley 0-3.  Next Monday 28th they play at home against Carnew Emmets.  The minors meet Rathnew at home on Wednesday 23rd while the under 14s play away against Newtown also on 23rd.  The Junior Cs play away to Kilmac this Thursday and the seniors have a league match next weekend against Newtown at home.  Check with Paul Brady or any team member the details of this fixture.
