Ladies take on Waterford in qualifiers
July 11, 2008
Armagh Ladies will take on Waterford in the qualifiers of the All-Ireland Championship on Sunday, July 27.
The two sides last crossed paths in the Championship back in 2006, incidentally when Armagh reached their first ever All-Ireland final, and defeated the Deise women on a score-line of 2-10 to 0-9.
This year has saw Waterford have an impressive league campaign and may pose a threat to the Orchard Count when the two sides clash before Down take on Meath in the game prior to.
Waterford were beaten in the Division 2A league semi-final earlier this year and if Armagh can play to their potation with players like Bronagh O'Donnell at their best, they will surely have enough to see off the Deises threat.
