LIMERICK v OFFALY
This will be only their fourth ever championship clash. They last met in 2006 when Limerick won a qualifier tie by ten points (2-29 to 2-19). They also met in the 2003 qualifiers with Offaly winning by 1-18 to 0-14.
The most famous clash between the counties was in the 1994 All-Ireland final when an Offaly team that included current manager, Joe Dooley staged a great recovery to beat Limerick. They out-scored Limerick by 2-5 to 0-0 in the final five minutes to win by 3-16 to 2-13.
