Munster Final at the Gaelic Grounds Next Sunday July 13th is a huge day in the history of Limerick GAA as Limerick will stage the first Munster Senior Hurling Final in 12 years. We all well remember 1996 and the wonderful excitement it brought to all Limerick fans! This will be the first time since its redevelopment that Páirc na nGael will be full to capacity. Having 50,000 people in attendance presents a huge challenge for our county board, but it also presents an opportunity to show our ability to host the biggest sporting event in Limerick in many years. Limerick Co. Chairman, Liam O'Loinneachain has requested that every club in the County should provide 5 or more stewards if possible, to help out at Páirc na nGael. It should be a very enjoyable occasion with a great buzz of excitement and any members who are available are asked to contact our Club Secretary, Pat Sheahan on 086 8835425 immediately. Stewards will need to be in attendance at Pairc na nGael by 12 noon on Sunday 13th. Congratulations to our County Bord na nOg Players Congratulations to Michael Keating on representing Sean Finn's and Limerick in the U15 Humphrey Kelliher Munster Inter-County Tournament recently. Congratulations also to Anthony Supple who represented Sean Finn's and Limerick in the U16 Munster Inter-County Championship. Congratulations also to Sean Sheahan who has made the Limerick U16 Hurling Squad and is busy training for their big Competition. These three young men are great assets to any team lucky enough to have them as members. It is great to see their skills recognised. Sympathy All in the club extend our sympathy to the Power families in Rathkeale and Newcastle West on the death of Charlie Power, RIP. May he rest in peace.
