Intermediate championship favourites Moy kick off their campaign on Friday evening as they face last year's beaten finalists Moortown at Dungannon. It is amazing that Moortown came so close to reaching the senior ranks last year and the enter this match as underdogs, although when you see the players that Moy have in their ranks, you can see the reason why. Backboned by the Cavanagh brothers Sean and Colm, Philip Jordan and Ryan Mellon, Moy are strongly tipped to win the intermediate championship and in doing that they will end Moortown's interest at an early stage.
