Armagh attacker Stephen Kernan wants the latest batch of youthful talent in the county to step forward and make a name for themselves when the Orchard men face Fermanagh in this year's Ulster SFC final
Kernan is set to enter the provincial decider as Armagh starting centre-forward after impressing in Peter McDonnell's side's opening games of the championship, and it will be a new experience for the Crossmaglen native.
"I have only been on the team a couple of years, but this is the first time that I have got to the Ulster final as a starting player," said Kernan.
"It's the first time Kieran Toner and Finnian Moriarty has got to an Ulster final. It's only the third time that Ciaran McKeever, Andy Mallon and Aaron (Kernan) have got to an Ulster final.
"There are a lot of players there who want to make a name for themselves. We don't want to live on past glories."
Armagh will go in search of a seventh Anglo-Celt Cup in nine years as they take on a Fermanagh side who look for a first in the county's history at Clones on July 20.
