Loughnane not getting carried away

Galway manager Ger Loughnane
Ger Loughnane insists he took no great pleasure from watching his Galway side 'humiliate' Antrim in Saturday's All-Ireland hurling qualifier at Casement Park. "Nobody wants to come up here and humiliate Antrim," the Galway manager said. "Sambo (McNaughton) and Dominic (McKinley) are working so hard, you hate to see a big score going up against them. But championship is business and you have to do it. "You've always a fear, especially on a wet, miserable day, that you'll be caught in an ambush. But the bottom line here is that everybody knows the championship doesn't really start until July 19. That's when it's knockout for everybody. I know you've a Munster final and a Leinster final, which are very important competitions. But no big team is going to be gone until July 19. "That's the real culling day for this championship."
