Leinster MHC: Morris goal wins replay for Wexford

A 54th minute goal from Paul Morris proved decisive as Wexford edged out Dublin in an exciting ESB Leinster MHC semi-final replay at Wexford Park on Saturday evening. Wexford...1-15 Dublin....2-11 The visitors were the better side in the opening half, but Wexford rallied strongly after the break to get themselves back into contention. However, Dublin responded with a goal from Ciaran Brennan to lead by 2-7 to 0-10 midway through the half. The Dubs continued to look the most likely winners until Morris netted six minutes from the end and Wexford finished the stronger to set up a provincial final showdown with Kilkenny in Croke Park next Sunday.
