MFC final this weekend

On Saturday June 28, Nire lock horns with Roanmore in the 2008 Waterford MFC final at Walsh Park (4.00).
Nire are the defending champions and are very much the dominant footballing force in the county at the moment, but they will be tested here by the upstarts from the eastern division.
Roanmore have been the surprise packet in the competition so far and will not be too upset about carrying the underdogs' tag again this weekend.
The holders have looked pretty impervious, though, as they beat all-comers in the tough western section and they would have to be firm favourites to complete back-to-back U18 successes.
