Flynn returns to training

Waterford's Paul Flynn
Paul Flynn has put his injury problems behind him to return to full training with the Waterford hurlers. The prolific Ballygunner sharpshooter was undecided about his inter-county future as recently as April, and wasn't considered for the Munster SHC first round defeat to Clare because of a leg injury. But he has since returned to the fold and new Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald expects him to feature in the All-Ireland qualifier against the losers of Saturday's game between Galway and Antrim on July 5. "He's back to being his old self in training at least, and I can see him pressing very strongly for a place in the team," Fitzgerald said. Eoin Kelly is returning to full fitness after breaking his hand, but Eoin Murphy is rated doubtful for the qualifiers due to an arm fracture.
