Murray recalled to Waterford squad

Mark Foley and James Murray
New Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald has recalled defender James Murray to his squad ahead of the All-Ireland hurling qualifier against Antrim or Galway on July 5.
After taking his first training session with the Deise last Wednesday, Fitzgerald hinted that the Tallow clubman would be invited back into the panel after he was deemed surplus to requirements by former manager Justin McCarthy earlier this year.
The 29-year-old was told by McCarthy that he wasn't part of his future plans following his return in March from a four-month break in Africa.
At the time, Murray presumed his inter-county career was over, but he is now set to revive it under the new management. He made his senior championship debut at left half back against Tipperary in 2000 and had been a regular fixture in both defence and midfield until the end of last season.
