Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has been dealt another blow ahead of the Leinster championship opener against Offaly with the news that defender James Ryall is out through injury. Ryall joins fellow defender Jackie Tyrrell on the sidelines after he pulled his hamstring recently and has been ruled out for a number of weeks. However, there is better news for Cody in the fact that Henry Shefflin continues to make significant progress on his comeback from injury, while midfielder Derek Lyng is also nearing full fitness. The defending All-Ireland champions face Offaly in Portlaoise on June 15th and they will be expected to see off the challenge of the Faithful County. Tweet
