Waterford and Cats clash in Walsh Park
May 16, 2008

Waterford's Eoin Kelly
Waterford and Kilkenny meet on Sunday evening next in Walsh Park in a fund-raiser match for which all monies will go to Capital Drive for a new South East cancer facility.
The game is to be Waterford's last outing before they take on Limerick on June 1 in their opening Championship encounter and a strong side is expected to be named upon the squad's return from training in Portugal.
There are possibilities that both Dan Shanahan and Eoin Kelly may make appearances for Waterford in this encounter, however for the time being Eoin Murphy is definite to miss out.
Kilkenny manager Brian Cody is expected to field a strong team as well in preparation for their All-Ireland title defence, with Cats' ace Henry Shefflin having recovered from injury to play for his club last weekend.
With this attractive encounter as the feature event on the day, great evening's entertainment looks to be in store in Walsh Park on Sunday. The entry fee is ?15 and all money collected at the gate will go to charity. Band entertainment will take place from 6-7pm.
