Geaney wary of Kildare's work-rate

Kerry under 21 boss Sean Geaney insists that Gary White and Alan Smith aren't the only Kildare players his side should be wary of ahead of Saturday's Cadbury's All-Ireland decider in Thurles. Centre back White and full forward Smith have been outstanding for the Lilywhites in their march to the final, but while accepting that they are two very dangerous players, Geaney is more concerned about Kildare's all-round ability and work-rate. He said: "I am familiar with Gary and Alan through their involvement with the Kildare senior team and both lads are very talented footballers. "They have been very impressive in the Leinster championship and in the All-Ireland semi-final against Down and no doubt the Kildare fans will be hoping for another big performance from both players. "But we are well aware of the fact that Kildare's main asset is the all-round solidity and work-rate of their team, so it would be counter-productive if we focused too much on trying to limit the effectiveness of White and Smith. "If we did that, the other players on the Kildare team would take advantage of the extra space and time they had on the ball."
