All-Ireland champions Tipperary fired a warning shot in Semple Stadium on Wednesday night when they powered to a comfortable ESB Munster minor hurling championship first round victory over Limerick. Tipperary.3-21 Limerick..1-12 It was an impressive showing by Declan Ryan's charges who are bidding for a third All-Ireland title in-a-row this year. Limerick put it up to them in the opening half, but the second half proved to be a one-sided affair as Tipperary coasted to victory. Two goals from Kieran Morris helped the home side to a 2-5 to 0-9 interval lead. A third goal from Brian O'Meara put them firmly in the driving seat, while Shane Bulfin grabbed a late consolation goal for the losers, who now face Cork in the qualifiers.
