All-Ireland champions Tipperary fired a warning shot in Semple Stadium on Wednesday night when they powered to a comfortable ESB Munster minor hurling championship first round victory over Limerick. Limerick put it up to them in the opening half, but the second half proved to be a one-sided affair as Tipperary coasted to victory. A third goal from Brian O'Meara put them firmly in the driving seat, while Shane Bulfin grabbed a late consolation goal for the losers, who now face Cork in the qualifiers.
