Tipperary made it through to the Cadbury's Munster U21 FC final for the second year in a row after overcoming Waterford by 2-7 to 1-6 at Ardfinnan.
First half goals from Darrel Darcy and Richard Ryan proved key in downing a spirited but limited Decies.
Darcy struck after just eight minutes while Ryan added the second goal just nine minutes later as the hosts forged a 2-4 to 0-2 interval lead.
Waterford refused to hoist the white flag and substitute Mark Scanlon notched 1-1 late on but it was too little too late for the visitors.
