Sammon names first Galway side

New Galway football manager Liam Sammon has named a much changed side for his first NFL game in charge of the Tribesmen for the Division 1 clash against Laois in Tuam on Sunday. His side's last outing was in the Connacht FBD FL win over GMIT just five players remain in the side - Finian Hanley, Diarmuid Blake, Niall Coleman, Fiachra Breathneach and Declan Meehan. Padraig Joyce is suspended after being sent off against the college side while Michael Comer is out injured. Niall Coleman is named at wing forward having been used as a target man in the full forward line during the provincial competition.
