Tipperary minor hurling coach Tommy Dunne says his team's success in bagging an early second half goal was pivotal in securing a 3-14 to 2-11 win over Cork in their ESB All-Ireland MHC final at Croke Park. "Cork put us under a lot of pressure for many periods, but thankfully our finishing was more clinical than theirs, and the goal so quickly in the second half gave us a valuable bit of daylight," said Dunne. "Our plan was to boss the game as soon as we could, but it took a while to warm to it. "We made a couple of silly mistakes which went unpunished, but the goals we scored came at vital times and as we all know goals win matches." Tweet
