Free admission to refixed clash

June 06, 2007
The Ulster Council has confirmed that supporters of Antrim and Derry will receive free admission to Sunday's rescheduled Ulster SFC quarter-final at Casement Park. The match was due to take place at the Belfast venue last Sunday, but was called off 20 minutes before the scheduled 4pm throw-in by Meath referee Cormac Reilly due to a waterlogged pitch. Earlier, Casement Park had staged the Ulster hurling final which resulted in a big win for Antrim over Down. But Ulster chiefs have announced that there will be free admission to encourage disappointed fans to watch the restaged fixture.
