Roscommon corner forward Conor Devaney was the hero as his side netted a place in this year's Cadbury's Connacht Under 21 FC final on the back of a 1-14 to 0-10 victory over Sligo. Devaney's major came midway through the second half to leave Roscommon to prepare for their first such decider since 1999. Devaney had good accomplises in Enda Kenny and David O'Gara whereas Sligo were much less potent up front and kicked 13 wides in total.
