Cork on cruise control
March 17, 2007
Defending champions Cork had it all too easy as they walloped Waterford by 2-17 to 0-1 in the Cadbury's Munster Under FC semi-final at Dungarvan.
The game was effectively over as a contest by the 20th minute when Eoin Cadogan set up Colm O'Neill for a goal to put the visitors 1-5 to 0-0 in front.
Fintan Goold and Daniel Goulding kicked seven points between them as the winners elect moved 1-9 to 0-0 ahead at half-time.
The second half followed a similar pattern with Goulding knocking in a second goal to add to Waterford's humiliation.
