Ros' captain hungry for more

September 26, 2006
Roscommon's All-Ireland minor winning captain David Flynn has insisted that his team's historic victory over Kerry has only whetted the appetite for more success. The Clan na nGael defender claimed that the Rossies' first Tom Markham Cup triumph in 55 years will not affect their players' desire to succeed at senior level, adding that they have no intention of resting on their laurels. "The minor club championship is going to start fairly soon and we'll all be back in for that," he said. "Hopefully over the next two or three years at under 21 level, we can give a strong showing of ourselves. We would like to get to another final and bring that on to senior."
