Kerry celebrate their 2016 All Ireland JFC final success at Croke Park

Kerry have appointed Jimmy Keane as their new county junior football manager.

Keane takes over from Stephen Wallace who guided the Kingdom to the last two All-Ireland junior football championship titles.

Kerry take on Clare or Limerick in the Munster JFC on the second weekend of June and the new manager is working towards that game.

"I hope to continue on a lot of what Stephen started in making it a development set-up and focus on the under-21 bracket," Keane told the Kerryman.

"It is an exciting time to be involved in this with all the success other Kerry teams are having in other competitions."
