Ferbane and Rhode will contest the Offaly SFC final in three weeks' time after they accounted for Tullamore and Gracefield respectively in yesterday's semi-final double-header at O'Connor Park.

Ferbane are back in the decider following a 19-year absence after they sent Tullamore packing on a 3-10 to 1-10 scoreline. Padraig Egan's underdogs set the tempo from the off to lead by 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time.

Despite a missed penalty by Joe Maher, the West Offaly outfit remained composed as goals from Jack Clancy, Shane Nally and David Cox saw them prevail.

Pascal Kellaghan's Rhode charges qualified for their fifth final on the trot thanks to a 1-11 to 1-7 win over their Laois border opponents. A Stephen Hannon goal helped 'The Village' to a comfortable 1-7 to 0-3 half-time lead before a Stephen Flanagan major early in the second half gave Gracefield hope. However, Niall McNamee and Paul McPadden replied with points to steady the green and golds, who will go into the final as favourites.
