Mickey 'Ned' O'Sullivan expects Kerry to end their recent losing streak against Dublin on Sunday.

The former Kerry All-Ireland winning captain questions whether Dublin have the appetite to retain Sam Maguire, a feat only the Kingdom has managed (2006-07) since 1990.

"Dublin have been on top for five years. Most teams in the modern era have failed to put back-to-back All-Irelands because of this hunger. Once you achieve it, it's very difficult to reproduce," he told RTE.

"Kerry on the other hand, inevitably, must have hunger after being annihilated by Dublin on the past three occasions."

O'Sullivan is convinced that Kerry have the fitness and quality to dethrone Jim Gavin's all-conquering side.

"Fitness is going to be a major factor, most second halves are 41 minutes," he noted.

"If Kerry can finish strongly, if their forwards take on the Dublin defence, if they have their best fifteen on the pitch for the last 20 minutes, they will do it."
