Gary Walsh has apologised for his attack on the Laois management on social media earlier this week.

Walsh took to Twitter on Thursday night to say he was "gutted" after he was dropped from the Laois panel by way of a phonecall from a member of the management team. The Ballylinan clubman admitted to over-reacting after he was substituted during last weekend's Leinster SFC quarter-final loss to Dublin.

But after meeting with Laois manager Mick Lillis yesterday, he issued the following statement on Twitter:
