This video features Ed Murray, Mayor of the City of Seattle, talks to Jerome Quinn about his strong family roots in Ireland, his Irish friends and connections in Seattle, and his excitement at the North American GAA Finals coming to the Pacific Northwest for the very first time, from September 2-4.
"We're pretty excited," says Murray whose grandparents are from Fethard in Tipperary, Patrickswell in Limerick, Newry and Belfast. "It's a huge event and an important moment for our significant Irish community who have been here since the beginning of the city."
