One game at a time for O'Sullivan

Dublin's Cian O'Sullivan raises the Sam Maguire Cup

Dublin aren't entertaining talk of an All-Ireland SFC three-in-a-row, insists centre-back Cian O'Sullivan.

Jim Gavin's charges have continued where they left off in 2015 with two wins from as many FL Division 1 outings so far but O'Sullivan is not looking too far down the road.

"There is a lot of. . . we'd be talked about a bit in the media and there'd be friends, family and work colleagues and everything, kind of murmurs, kind of whispers about two-in-a-row, three-in-a-row," the Kilmacud Crokes clubman said to The Irish Independent.

"You have to just block that out and push the reset button and not get carried away with yourself and just focus on the next goal, which is Monaghan in three weeks' time.

"Because you don't want your imagination to start running away with things."

Illness prevented O'Sullivan from lining out against Mayo in Castlebar last Sunday but he expects to be fit for the round 3 encounter against Monaghan.

"I'm enjoying playing - it's just such a massive privilege to put on a jersey in the first place.

"It's a fantastic team we have and I've been very fortunate to be part of those teams and playing in some amazing games."
