Buckley for Tipp?

October 10, 2015

Donie Buckley. INPHO

Donie Buckley's name is the latest to be linked with the vacant Tipperary senior football manager position.

The highly experienced Kerry native, who has enjoyed coaching spells with Limerick, Kerry and Mayo, is rumoured to be in the frame to replace Peter Creedon who stood down following this year's qualifier defeat to Tyrone.

The42.ie reports that if the Premier get their man, he would be joined by Creedon's former backroom team members Michael McGeehin (coach), Michael O'Loughlin and Tommy Toomey, who was in charge of the U21 team that contested the All-Ireland final against Tyrone in May.
