Waterford manager Derek McGrath will be delighted to see some of his charges in such fine form in the county SHC over the weekend.

Player of the moment Maurice Shanahan continued his fine form this year as he notched an impressive 0-15 in Lismore's 0-18 to 1-15 draw against Roanmore.

Shanahan hit ten points from frees, a '65 and four from play as he accounted for all bar three of his side's tally.

Dungarvan forward Patrick Curran was in outstanding form as he hit 3-07 for his side in their 5-20 to 2-11 win over Cappoquin

Curran was in outstanding form and got a whopping 3-03 of his tally from play with two of his goals coming in the first half.

Mount Sion's Martin F O'Neill sent out a message to his county manager that he should be getting more game time as he scored 1-11 (six frees) as they played out an exciting 1-18 draw against Passage.

Jake Dillon managed a modest 0-08 (six frees) as De La Salle lost 1-17 to 1-15 against Ballyduff Upper, while Jamie Barron managed the exact same tally as Fourmilewater defeated Tallow by 1-13 to 0-15.
