Cillian O'Connor was already looking forward to next Saturday's replay after Mayo's dramatic draw with Dublin.

O'Connor's superb place-kicking proved crucial as the Connacht champions came from seven points down in the last 10 minutes to earn another bite at the cherry.

"We think there's more in us and we're going to bring it next week," he vowed in an interview with RTE.

"The boys didn't surprise me there. We dug deep. We didn't play particularly well in the second half, but the boys are never going to give up and we hung in there right to the end.

"It was always going to be difficult, space was always going to be at a premium, but we took some of our chances, but not enough."

On his late penalty conversion, the Ballintubber man added: "It was a team move, we worked it the full length of the field, 'Boyler' won it. It's my job to take them. We needed it and we got it."
