All-Ireland winning Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy is to spearhead the search for the new Offaly senior hurling manager.
According to local reporter Brian Lowry of the Midland Tribune, Sheedy will chair a committee tasked with finding Brian Whelahan's replacement and Rory Hanniffy and Joe Brady will also be involved.
