If Friday was the best day of Owen Lennon's life, today must have been a close second.
The 32-year-old, who was a late addition to the Monaghan starting line-up, began the weekend by marrying his fiancé and finishes it with a second Ulster SFC medal in three years after helping the Farney County to a one-point victory over Donegal at Clones.
"I got married on Friday," Lennon explained to the BBC.
"That was the best day of my life. Once that passed, I had to focus again on today. The two things in the one weekend - it's been unbelievable for me!"
With Monaghan destined for Croke Park in a couple of weeks' time and primed for a crack at Sam Maguire, it could be some time before the Latton clubman and his new bride get around to going on honeymoon.
