Dublin and Galway have met five times in championship hurling and the men from the capital will be looking to maintain their 100% win record when they meet in tomorrow's Leinster SHC quarter-final at Croke Park.

In recent times, Dublin held the upperhand in the 2011 Leinster semi-final and two years later they memorably overcame the Tribesmen to collect their first Bob O'Keeffe success since 1961.

Ger Cunningham's starting 15 shows two changes from the Division 1A semi-final loss to Cork.

Alan Nolan replaces Gary Maguire between the posts while Simon Lambert fills the void at midfield created by Niall McMorrow's injury.

Defenders Cian O'Callaghan and Chris Crummey will make their championship starting debuts while Dublin supporters will be hoping that Mark Schutte can continue his rich vein of form.

The corner-forward registered five points when Dublin booked their place in the knockout stages of the league thanks to a 0-26 to 2-14 win over Anthony Cunningham's charges in Parnell Park.

The pressure is very much on Cunningham to deliver a second provincial title in his fourth year in charge.

"We definitely have a score to settle with Dublin for two years ago, to be sure," he acknowledged.

"We desperately want to win this match. I think it is of huge significance and I think it is even a bigger match that the Munster first round (Limerick v Clare) last weekend."

Injury robs the men from the west of the services of Conor Cooney, Daithí Burke, David Burke and Niall Burke but, on the plus side, Joe Canning has successfully recovered from a hand injury and will line out at full-forward.

All the evidence points to a Dublin win but Galway get a tentative vote to set up a last four clash against Offaly or Laois.

Verdict - Galway.
