Injuries clearing up for Red Hands

There is further good news on the injury front for Tyrone with goalkeeper Niall Morgan the latest player to make a return to action.

The netminder, who doubles up as the team's free-taking specialist, picked up an injury in the early stages of the league encounter against Donegal.

The Irish News reports that he featured for his club at the weekend and should be available for the Ulster SFC opener against Donegal on May 17th.

Captain Sean Cavanagh also came through club duty unscathed at the weekend having recently undergone surgery on a knee injury.

Meanwhile, the experienced Joe McMahon is in the frame for a starting berth having sat out most of the Red Hand County's Division 1 campaign to concentrate on his studies.
