Neal McAuley says Antrim have already put their thrilling victory over Laois behind them.

The Glensmen opened their Leinster SHC round-robin campaign with a dramatic win on Sunday, thanks to Ciaran Clarke's last-gasp penalty, and will travel to Mulingar to take on high-flying Westmeath in Round Two this weekend.

"The Laois victory is in the past now. We've parked it," McQuillan's clubman McAuley told The Irish News. "We have to concentrate on the Westmeath game and it's going to be a difficult fixture for us.

"Westmeath had a good victory over Carlow at the weekend, so there'll be a good vibe in their camp as well.

"We knew the Laois game was an opportunity to right the wrongs of the league. At the end of the day, the league is the league - it's all about championship. Sunday's result showed the character of the players. No matter how many times we get knocked down, we'll keep getting back up."
