Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett refused to comment on the controversial last-minute penalty decision which cost Laois victory against Antrim.

Former dual star Cahir Healy was adjudged to have fouled Antrim captain Neil McManus as he burst through, and Ciaran Clarke duly converted the penalty to hand the Saffrons a dramatic one-point win.

"I'll leave that to yourselves to report on what you saw," the Laois manager told reporters.

"You know I can't comment on it and I expect you to report what you saw. In matches, generally when you look at both sides, there are some frees that you think you should have got.

"I suppose the only thing you can say on that (the Antrim penalty) is that it was a critical one. It was a game-winning free to give, but I'll let yourselves comment on the legitimacy of it and I'll move on to next week."
