"Teams are going to set up that way" - Flynn

Paul Flynn accepts that Dublin will be presented with more blanket defences before the year is out.

Derry at times had 14 men behind the ball in a desperate attempt to thwart the Dubs in Croke Park on Saturday night and All Star attacker Flynn acknowledges that such defensive approaches are part and parcel of the modern game:

"It can be frustrating when there are a lot of bodies back and we're trying to play the brand of football that we're trying to play," the Fingallians clubman notes in The Irish Independent. "It does become more difficult.

"But you just have to deal with it. Teams are going to set up that way. It's up to each team which way they set up.

"Our style - it's the style that Dublin play. It's the style of club football in Dublin. So we'll continue to play our way, and whatever way teams set themselves up, we'll just have to try and break them down."
