Corofin manager Stephen Rochford wasn't getting carried away with his side's impressive Connacht club SFC final victory over Ballintubber.

According to the Crossmolina man, the new favourites for the Andy Merrigan Cup aren't looking beyond their All-Ireland quarter-final against Tir Chonaill Gaels in Ruislip on Sunday, December 14.

"Personally, this is good, but my job is far from over," Rochford told the Western People.

"There's no clapping on the backs tonight. We play in London in three weeks and we can't get away from that. We've won our seventh (championship) game and now we move on to game eight, so we've got to maintain our focus.

"I'm delighted that we executed a game-plan, not to perfection, but we went about it in a good and solid way."

Stressing that Corofin won't be underestimating the London champions, the 2001 All-Ireland club winner added: "We will go into that game with the same respect as we did against Aughawillan, coming to Castlebar today, or going into Tuam playing anybody.

"Any team that wins their county championship needs to be respected, and the day you get ahead of yourself is the day you're in trouble.

"That match will be our focus for the next three weeks and we need to keep that focus and make sure we're still in the championship in 2015. We've now got to go and book some flights and get our homework done for London."
