A spokesperson for the Hillingdon Council has said that they've requested additional information for the proposed £4.17million redevelopment of Ruislip.

The application has been referred to the Mayor's Office and it is thought that planning officials and the GAA will meet soon to discuss it.

"This is a complex application which involves a number of issues, including the impact on the green belt, residential amenity, highways and flood related matters," a spokesperson told The Irish Post newspaper.

"The application was therefore refereed to the Mayor of London for his consideration. In the meantime, we have requested further information from the applicants and hope to be able to work with them to address these issues."

Mark Gottsche of the London county board said they are "working through a few scenarios" in regards to the status of the application.
